AN Artist inspired by the natural world;

My artwork is inspired by my work as a gardener, caring for a selection of beautiful gardens in the South East of England. The plants, trees, insects and animals that I come across whilst tending to the garden inspire my drawings. I’m fascinated by the ever changing seasons and how these shifts bring such variations in what one can discover in nature. I love the folklore that has been inspired by our native flora and fauna and I take further inspiration from the Celtic Wheel of the Year, with its fascinating cycle of seasonal festivals, marking the turning of the seasons.

With my original drawings I make a selection of paper goods including cards, sketchbooks and prints.

My work is on display at Lingwood & Daughter at 12 Church Street, a contemporary art and craft Gallery & Studio Space in Godalming that I share with my Mother, Caroline Lingwood.
